Kudos to Yahoo! and Google

Yahoo! India is promoting AIDS awareness heavily on its homepage today.
Though not as much promotion on yahoo.com, Yahoo!’s US homepage, Yahoo! has AIDS awareness promotion right next to the logo. It even has some animation to draw attention. Google didn’t go to the extent Yahoo! has but the promotion is quite conspicuous on its uncluttered homepage.
myspace.com has a special page for world AIDS day, http://www.myspace.com/worldaidsday, but no mention of it on the homepage. It is about 3 am PST in San Jose, CA (and late in the day in Europe/Asia/Australia) and, sadly, there is nothing to spread AIDS awareness on World AIDS Day on msn.com, aol.com, mtv.com, apple.com, etc.
