Having nothing to lose, asked my boss if I could work from here—in California—for a few months and his response was: Sure, no problem. Will be back in cool California soon to enjoy terrific weather…which means, I will finally be away from hot Hyderabad during summer. I am glad I asked.

Not sure if it was a coincidence but it was interesting to watch the on-screen scoreboard during Bradley and Pittsburgh NCAA basketball game. Watching the game on high definition tv (mentioned in Is it Really a Deal?) was quite an experience. The picture quality is stunning. Needless to say, the picture accompanying this [...] Good to be in California and away from hot Hyderabad even if it is only for a week. The high temperature here in Silicon Valley area is about 40°F lower than what it is in Hyderabad. This in itself is good motivation to consider moving to the US! |
